The “Buzz” About Periodical Cicadas

This spring offers an amazing opportunity to experience the rare emergence of periodical cicadas in Wisconsin.

Please join us for a free online program on Wednesday, May 15, from noon to 1:00 PM. The presentation will be given by PJ Liesch, Director of the UW Insect Diagnostic Lab.

Learn about the biology and life cycle of these fascinating insects and their role in the ecosystem. The program also covers when and where to expect cicada activity in Wisconsin and what it could mean for your own yard.
